Idaho Falls Temple Visitor's Center

Tonight we took the boys to visit the IF Temple Visitor's Center. We walked around the temple a bit first, and then headed inside the visitor's center. There's a beautiful Christus statue and the sister missionaries who gretted us were so friendly and let the boys go up and touch and showed them where the prints in Jesus' hands and feet and side were. We listened to a short presentation, and then went to one of the video rooms and watched a short video about families. The entire experience was so very powerful - a great reminder of why we're here and what matters most - our family. On the way home we talked with the boys about how temples make it possible for our family to be together forever. Oh how I want that more than anything.
